Previously known as RKCCP or RK Commercial Contracts Practice, RK Commercial Contracts was formed by Richard Robinson and David Anwyl in the 1990s. Simon Rowley, a qualified lawyer, later joined the team, eventually heading up the division when Richard Robinson and David Anwyl moved on.
In Simon Rowley RK Commercial Contracts Practice / RKCCP had someone who was able to grow the division to take a market leading position. Ben Arguile, at the time a successful search and selection consultant, joined the team to help manage the increased workload. Working closely with Simon, Ben acquired a deep insight into the complexities of the commercial contracts industry and became accustomed to the skills and nuances involved in serving such clients.
Kellan Group PLC acquired the RK Group in 2007. While Ben Arguile, Simon Rowley and the RKCCP / RK Commercial Contracts Practice transferred to the new PLC set-up, the business has continued to operate independently in its niche market segment.
Under Simon Rowley the RKCCP / RK Commercial Contracts Practice continued to grow, taking a market leading position. When Simon Rowley left RKCCP / RK Commercial Contracts, Ben Arguile naturally succeeded to Head of Practice.
We saw this as an opportunity to further build our capability to match our clients' ambitious brand development. We have since revisited our proposition. The name change from RKCCP to RK Commercial Contracts and logo change is just the start. The brand has evolved again to one that is based out of two of the major cities of the UK, backed by a major PLC and supported by specialist consultants.
No other business in the commercial contracts arena has a comparable longevity, reach and financial backing. Most importantly, we believe our commitment to improving our offering has helped us to maintain our market leading proposition.
